Cat sleeping comfortably in a foster home

Fostering

Open your home temporarily. Change a cat’s life permanently.

What is fostering?

A safe place between rescue and adoption.

Fostering means welcoming a cat or kittens into your home until they are ready for and matched with a permanent family.

Foster homes give cats a chance to relax, feel safe and show their true personalities. They also create space for the rescue to help another cat in need.

Why foster?

  • Help save lives by expanding the rescue’s available space.
  • Give cats the experience of a loving, stable home.
  • Learn more about cat needs, personalities and behavior.
  • Make a direct difference in the Cecil County community.
