About Rescue Right Meow

A no-kill, foster-based cat rescue serving Cecil County and surrounding communities.

Our story

We C.A.R.E. for Cats.

Rescue Right Meow is built around four pillars—Collaborate, Assist, Rescue and Educate.

We collaborate with like-minded nonprofit organizations, government entities and businesses to form a strong network focused on ending the cycle of cat overpopulation and euthanasia in Cecil County and the surrounding area.

We assist the public in locating low-cost spay and neuter services. We rescue unwanted and abandoned cats, provide temporary foster homes until permanent homes are found and strive to reunite lost cats with their families.

We also educate the public and government officials about spaying and neutering, adoption, humane treatment of animals and other essential cat-welfare topics.
